Tiny Pieces of Sunshine

Hot summer day. 

These Black Eyed Susans looked like tiny little suns, throwing off rays of bright sunshine.

I want to savor these scorching summer days and hold them close when the long, dark winter sets in and the snow is swirling about, covering the flower beds in a thick, white blanket.

When that happens, I'll come back here and visit these tiny, bright little pieces of sunshine.
