Snow Day

Today was a snowy, blowy, stay-inside-and-knit-with-a-cup-of-hot-coffee-beside-you kind of day.

The wind was whipping the snow horizontal with the ground. Drifts collected on the porch, beside the barn, on the steps, near the vehicles and against the sides of the house. We did not see many cars go by, only snow plows. It looked a bit treacherous out there.

I snuggled up in my cozy cardigan and picked up my knitting. I binge watched a new show and kept my coffee cup filled with hot coffee. And I did not have to shovel.

A perfect snow day.
