Essential Librarians

My lupines are starting to come up. They are teeny, tiny right now but they're coming up.

Hope springs eternal.

We're still able to go to work. The library is closed to the public but there's a handful of us in the building each day, answering phones and questions. We're able to do all those projects that we never find time to do during a regular day. 

Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.

Staying six feet apart.

Filming story hours to put online. We make lots of mistakes and have so many retakes that we now have an outtake video. 

We're working while we can, unsure of what the next few weeks looks like as the number of victims starts to climb. For now, librarians are considered essential.
