Shenanigans on Mother's Day

It always starts out so innocently. 

A simple walk along a dam. Enjoying the sunny day. A bit on the brisk side and windy but still an enjoyable day.

And then he can't help himself.

He has to poke the bear.

The Man has no idea of the shenanigans going on behind him.

And when he finally tunes in - his great big smile.

They're still kids at heart.

I love that the two of them still roughhouse.

The Man keeps a good eye on J.

He's getting the hat ready.

J was gracious enough to spend the day with us as we took a Sunday ride, exploring towns along the way. We had some good laughs, reminisced about past family trips, and enjoyed each other's company.
