Two Peas in a Pod, Times Two

I can't even tell you how much I love this photo.

It's definitely not perfect. The sun and shadow line is very prominent. The color is a little wonky.

I don't care.

These are some of our oldest friends. K and T (the gal on the left) have been friends since they were in preschool together. I have so, so many pictures of the two of them together. Always smiling, playing so nicely together. Two peas in a pod they were.

They were inseparable when they were in the younger grades. We worried about what would happen when they got split up and sent to different classrooms.

They survived.

And then we had to move away. Time and a little distance went to work and soon enough we didn't see them so often. Then high school and college came and we saw them maybe every few years at that point.

But now both young women are out of college and working. They'll soon have some free time on their hands and there's talk of more get togethers -  getting the siblings together and getting our whole families together.

We'll make it happen because they are too important to us. It was wonderful to connect with them and re-establish bonds.
