Scenes from Summer

Our view up the road at the neighbor's house last week.

Yeesh.

Not what you want to see when the power goes out. That is definitely NOT a quick fix. 

We were out of power for three days. I am so thankful we have a generator and I could take a hot shower. And have a little light at night. And open the refrigerator to get a little snack.

Honestly, I would have been a terrible prairie woman.

The Man planted flowers for me in the garden this year. 

I love glads. They were my mom's favorite and she always had a bouquet of them in the late summer. I smile every time I see them.

K and I took little man to the zoo.

I can't even with those tippy toes.

He loved, loved, loved the pygmy goats.

K took him into the petting zoo twice, he had so much fun in there.
