Summer Blessings

Little Man is working hard this summer. We're reading and learning to use scissors. Painting, splashing in rain puddles IN OUR BARE FEET, woodworking, picking blackberries and cherry tomatoes. Watching the bees and playing with the neighbor girl.

We went to see DINOSAURS! Gave them the stink-eye as we walked by. That was a very fun day with the little man. He's loving dinosaurs right now. And dragons. They're still around.

His little sister is quite the lounge about. I think I caught her mid-rollover in the pic above. That's her prime mode of movement right now - rolling, rolling, rolling. And army crawling backwards. She works her way under the sofa quite often and needs to be rescued.

She's such a happy baby and loads of fun. She's very observant and loves to watch her brother move around. She loves to steal his toys, to which he says, "No, thank you!"

She's full of smiles and not a speck of trouble. We love watching her a couple days a week while her momma and daddy work.

The zinnias are in! We can't pick them fast enough and I'm giving them away by the bucketful. Truly they are my favorite flower and I love, love, love having giant bouquets of them around the house from now through fall.
