Mother's Day

A lovely Mother's Day celebration at K and B's home.

I contributed a favorite breakfast treat - blueberry french toast casserole.
And fruit salad. Had to have a healthy (and tasty) option.

It makes a LOT of fruit salad so we ate our fill and then I gave some to K and some to J and brought the rest home.

Can't wait for lunch tomorrow.
J brought an almond danish and we put together a breakfast bread platter with that and slices of peach melba quick bread and chocolate chip brioche.

K made bacon in the oven and if you've never cooked it this way, do it. Super easy and no splatters and the bacon slices stay long and flat. She also had a broccoli quiche warmed up.

We enjoyed our brunch with mimosas and sat and visited and ate yummy food.
__________

Many hands make light work. So say the Amish.
Little Man likes to be carried around. He points this way and that way and we bring him in the direction he wants.

This seems to be work out pretty good for him.

He's trained us well.
My two.

Love them. Love being together.
We got Little Man in the photo and somehow got a great smile out of him.

I think K popped his pacifier out of his mouth with a "POP" sound. That usually makes him smile.
God has given me wonderful children.

So happy to be their mom and so very thankful for this life we all share.
