Labor Day Weekend, part one

We got together with family this weekend at Sissy's house. It's always a good time when we're together. Lots of laughs and good food, plenty of craft beer, and baby kisses.

That's quite a list.

K's fiance, B, had his face painted at a Renaissance Faire they attended that afternoon. He wanted to look like Mel Gibson in "Braveheart". I think they did a pretty good job.  He loved it. He said he was going to keep his face painted for the whole weekend. He lasted a couple hours. Then his face got itchy and he started rubbing it, smearing blue paint all over his face and hands.

Oy vey.
Little Man O has so many facial expressions now. And he is enthralled by the camera. He loves staring at it as I click, click, click away. I think he sees the shutter opening and closing. Plus, the clicking sound.

Movement and noise.

Instant baby magnet.
That smile.

So sweet.
Great Grampa is checking him out. Looking at the little toes. He was whispering to him just a few moments before. Little Man O listens so intently when you whisper in his ear.

Baby whisperers, that's what grandparents and great-grandparents are.
