Just some random thoughts I've had while watching the Olympics:
How do the people jumping on the trampoline not get motion sick spinning around so much? And when did trampolining become a sport?
Why do swimmers take water into their mouth and then spit it back into the pool? Ewww.
Do gymnasts have to do special toe exercises so they can grip the balance beam?
What happens if an Olympic athlete has to use the restroom and it's their turn to compete?
Do the people rowing the boats ever wish their coxswains would paddle and pull their own weight?
Why do all the athletes say they're having "fun"? Aren't any of them so nervous they want to throw up?
What ARE the mascots? How many people have they scared?
Does anyone else think the helmets in the sport of "Cycling Track" make the athletes look like buggy aliens?
How can I NOT know some of the countries participating in the Olympics, like Timor-Leste and Burkina Faso? What does that say about my geography education?
