Heading South

Heading south for the winter.

At least they are now.
The Man and I were outside last week and noticed some geese flying overhead. They were heading north.

What?

That's the wrong direction.
Turns out there's a lot of reasons why they may be flying north. You can read about it here.
I love watching them fly overhead. The honking. Communicating to each other the direction they should be going.

They move so gracefully, morphing into different formations, changing directions. Going with the flow.

I love how they stay together. They fly in a formation that helps the next one fly easier.

There's a lot to learn from these travelers passing through.
