Kids today. What's the matter with kids today?

Sound familiar?

I tell you, being parents of teens is NOT easy. It's downright hard.

I feel like we're trapped in a sinkhole and we'll never find our way out.
Most days it's finding the balance between too protective and letting go.

The Man's much better at letting go. I stink at it.

I'm always going to be protective. That's the mama bear in me.

But I'm trying.
