It was a gorgeous fall day. Temperature was warm, sun was shining, and we didn't have to put the heat on. Always a good day when the heat doesn't have to come on, right?

The Man and I play a game each fall, trying to hold off putting the heat on until November 1. We've made it a year or two. Usually one of us caves on a cold morning toward the end of October. But so far, so good. Only 26 more days to go.

Yikes.
