A {Sweet} Day

Sitting in the living room, snuggled up under my cozy, warm, soft red blanket. A cup of sweet, delicious hot chocolate beside me, watching "Miracle on 34th Street," and writing my Christmas cards.

Life is good.

Spent part of the afternoon cleaning out the basement.  I can't take the clutter anymore.

The theme for 2013 is simplify, simplify, simplify. 

And throw things out. That's the sub-theme.

And not buy any more stuff. That's the sub-sub-theme.

Did a family photo shoot this afternoon with the sweetest young family, the McDs. Their children are very young and oh-so-adorable. And busy. 

As in, don't-want-to-stay-still-long-enough-to-take-a-photo busy. But their momma is a smart cookie and brought lollipops to bribe them.
