Christmas Pageant

Tonight was the Christmas pageant at church. My niece, D, was Mary and she took her job very seriously. She memorized her lines to perfection.

She also got a fit of silent giggles when her and Joseph and the angel Gabriel did something unplanned.

It was so very hard to see all these angels singing. Couldn't stop thinking about the Newton families missing their little ones.

So while I was joyful - worshipping my savior, Jesus Christ, with my church family - I was sad, too.

The teens did their version of the popular Christmas video on YouTube, dressed as monks.
